- Dredge on as much of the remainder as will stick, and put the chicken on a baking tray or in an oven proof dish.
- Cook in the oven at gas mark 5, 190°C or 375°F for 35-40 minutes. The chicken is cooked if the juices run clear when pierced with a skewer. If using a meat thermometer, the temp. should be 75°C or 165°F.
- Remove from the oven and allow to rest for several minutes. Alternatively, deep fry at 180°C or 355° F for about 1 minute until the skin is crisp.
